Figs and Gelatos!

Today we had our first visitor (we have a very cool doorbell and we can buzz  people in so we've been waiting to use it!), the lady from upstairs. She brought us figs, which I had never had and they taste like candy. She was very neighborly and has 2 children. I also had my first gelato!! I got a cafe flavored one and it was delicious. Tonight we are having dinner with other students from the Lorenzo di Medici school and get to meet some of our professors then we are going out to a place called Central Park!! Maybe it will feel like I am back in New York!

Me and Sarah are taking a cooking class together which starts next week. We made dinner last night..hopefully we'll be able to make more exciting things after our class!
